The United States is headed by among its most inept, internationally scorned, ridiculed and disrespected Presidents ever (Jimmy Carter, an Obama advisor, is the competition for this “honor”). He is universally seen as a feckless amateur without leadership skills and a zero intimidation factor.
The anti-Reagan.
Add this to his far-felt pacifist beliefs and throw in a far left political appointee with little practical experience and the physiognomy of a school board member to serve as an arms negotiator with the ruthless Russians under Putin … and this spells a disaster in the making.
A sheep negotiating with wolves.
We are not safe while Obama remains our President!
The consequences of his ineptitude, lack of leadership and common sense, his destructive pacifism and quixotic ideologies are real existential threats to our country.

Undersecretary of state for international security and arms control Ellen Tauscher
The Washington Times' Bill Gertz reports that U.S. diplomats are secretly negotiating with Russia to link nuclear arms reduction to limits on our anti-missile defenses.
As Gertz points out, "Pro-arms-control officials within the administration dislike missile defenses, viewing them as an impediment to offensive arms agreements."
Ellen Tauscher, the undersecretary of state for international security and arms control, has been talking to Moscow's deputy foreign minister, Sergei Rybakov, and that in and of itself should generate fears.
Tauscher's qualifications for her current job amount to little beyond her experience as a Democratic Party fundraiser and seven terms as a San Francisco congresswoman with a reputation, according to the media at least, as a centrist, but a voting record that shows her to be an unalloyed liberal.
Tauscher let it be known when she left the House for the State Department last year that her priority was to eliminate all nuclear weapons in the world.
If that requires giving away the store on missile defense, it's worth it in the worldview of an administration that was sure an extended hand would lead Iran to end its nuclear program.
Deputy Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty negotiator Frank Rose less than a month ago said at a London conference that the Obama administration was seeking a deal on missile defense "cooperation" via the Tauscher-Rybakov negotiations.
As quoted by Gertz, Rose said, "The door to tangible, mutually beneficial missile defense cooperation with the United States, and potentially with NATO, is wide open."
President Obama has already abandoned the Czechs and the Poles on missile defense against Russian aggression under the rule of former KGB operative Vladimir Putin.
Are we now going to leave ourselves defenseless too?
It's worth remembering the crucial role that a commitment to missile defense played in the demise of the Soviet empire.
Soviet dissident Natan Sharansky noted that President Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative, and the realization that Moscow didn't have the resources to compete with it, made Mikhail Gorbachev's advisers "finally accept demands for internal reform."
As British historian Andrew Roberts notes in his "History of the English-Speaking Peoples Since 1900," Reagan himself would call strategic missile defense "the single most important reason, on the United States' side, for the historic breakthroughs that were to occur" in the years before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Yet the Obama administration's attitude is like that of the liberal internationalists of the 1980s, described by Reagan Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger in his autobiography: "The idea that any country might try to defend itself against the nuclear weapons of another country was not only revolutionary, it was sacrilegious."
As Roberts notes, detentists at the time "alternately (and contradictorily) denounced" missile defense "as expensively unworkable and strategically destabilizing."
The decades since have proved that missile defense is fantastically workable. The only thing that will stop free people from defending themselves against nuclear missiles is leaders deluded by notions of utopianism and appeasement.

The following is an open letter written by actor Jon Voight to President Obama:

June 22, 2010
President Obama:
You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people, and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies. You have done just the opposite. You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone's enemy — and it has resonated throughout the world. You are putting Israel in harm's way, and you have promoted anti-Semitism throughout the world.
You have brought this to a people who have given the world the Ten Commandments and most laws we live by today. The Jewish people have given the world our greatest scientists and philosophers, and the cures for many diseases, and now you play a very dangerous game so you can look like a true martyr to what you see and say are the underdogs. But the underdogs you defend are murderers and criminals who want Israel eradicated.
You have brought to Arizona a civil war, once again defending the criminals and illegals, creating a meltdown for good, loyal, law-abiding citizens. Your destruction of this country may never be remedied, and we may never recover. I pray to God you stop, and I hope the people in this great country realize your agenda is not for the betterment of mankind, but for the betterment of your politics.
With heartfelt and deep concern for America and Israel,
Jon Voight

The world is facing an unprecedented number of apocalyptic threats on several fronts, the most notable being Iran. Many nations are saber rattling and forming pernicious alliances with bellicose nations, often as a consequence of the perceived precipitous demise of the United States’ international prestige and influence resultant from Obama’s reckless and ideologically naïve behavior and comments, absence of any shred of leadership or credibility, ineptness, detachment and lack of resoluteness and common sense.
This is a critical juncture in time that calls for an experienced, sensible, effective and resolute leader of this country. Yes, it would be great to have a Reagan, a Lincoln or even a Churchill. Unfortunately, this country has as its President a man who compares unfavorably even to Jimmy Carter (which previously would have been thought to have been an impossibility) and one who exudes a sentiment of hatred/dislike for America.
He is an unpatriotic Neville Chamberlain with far less to offer. And we know what happened subsequently in WW II.
As a consequence, the United States, Israel and much of the rest of the world will be facing serious existential threats, terrorist attacks and/or wars and catastrophic loss of life.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gestures after a news conference in Shanghai, China, at which he dismissed a new U.N. resolution against his... View Enlarged Image
Iran: The new sanctions, already watery before being watered down some more, have been enacted. What do we do now?
Apparently just wait for them not to work.
If insanity can be defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, then the United Nations Security Council, led by the U.S., is conducting a policy against Iran that is dangerously deranged.
Of course, the member states know this fourth round of economic sanctions won't stop Iran's march toward nuclear weapons, any more than the first three have. Indeed, ending Tehran's nuclear program is not why President Obama made a point of getting this ineffectual nonsolution in place. But figuring out the rationality behind why he did isn't easy.
Was it so the president could campaign that "by working with other nations multilaterally, we enacted measures against Iran that are tougher than anything the Bush administration put in place"? (A harder wrist slap is still a wrist slap.)
Was it in the belief that it would force the Iranians into talks — and once the president gets talking to them he'll be able to work his magic, the way he did on American voters?
Or was it just to "do something" in the slim hope it would get Americans to devote less attention to the chilling prospect of nuclear-armed jihadists?
Now that these latest feeble sanctions have passed, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Foggy Bottom's smarter-than-thou diplomats are busy patting themselves on the back, what is left of our Iran policy? What do we do now, as Tehran thumbs its nose at us and continues inexorably toward nuclear status?
We apparently wait. Some anti-nuclear terrorism policy that is.
There are goose-bumpy reports in the press of U.S.-backed covert operations to throw technical monkey wrenches into the development of an Iranian bomb. Considering the CIA's track record, we'd be safer expecting Superman or Spider-Man to appear in the nick of time to save the day.
After all, the spy agency was dumbstruck in May 1998, when India conducted a nuclear test explosion.
"The warning bell never rang," according to Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter Tim Weiner in his history of the CIA, "Legacy of Ashes." "The test revealed a failure of espionage, a failure to read photographs, a failure to comprehend reports, a failure to think, and a failure to see." India's adversary, Pakistan, almost instantly followed up with its own nuclear test.
So don't count on James Bond either.
Both the Obama and Bush administrations have squandered their opportunities to solve this singularly dangerous dilemma.
There were years during which we knew Tehran was headed toward nukes, and all the time we could have been explicitly supporting Iranian freedom fighters — millions of Muslims who want an end to rule by the ayatollahs.
We could have been sending student organizers, religious leaders and labor organizations resources — everything from computer communications equipment to cash — so they could rally the populace, disseminate news about government oppression and stage massive strikes. And publicly give them our moral support.
Last year, for example, President Obama had the perfect chance to support the people of Iran, as multitudes risked their lives in mass protests against the questionable re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. But being just a few months into his presidency, Obama refused; it would have undermined his offer of direct talks with Ahmadinejad.
But those talks never happened.
With the proper groundwork laid over years, those demonstrations of 12 months ago could have been the catalyst to end the Islamist revolution launched by the Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979. And under a new popular government, we might not even have to worry about Iran's pursuit of nuclear power, or at least worry less.
As the Weekly Standard reports, the Obama administration this week will apparently endorse a United Nations probe of Israel's conduct in the Gaza flotilla incident.
Since Israel may end up being the ones to prevent a nuclear Iran, this may be an even better definition of insanity: rewarding your worst enemy as he plans to kill you, while abusing your best friend who's in a position to save you.

The following editorial describes the deleterious effects that Obama’s aggressive remarks and rebukes toward Israel have had on that country. These, by themselves, are supremely important. However, if you look at the big picture, the damage that Obama has engendered by his lack of leadership and executive experience, his naiveté and disingenuous ideologies, and ill-advised commentaries, apologies and rebukes is incalculable.
In America, he has unleashed divisiveness and racism (ie. - incendiary comments on Arizona’s illegal immigration legislation with countless cities and organizations now attacking or boycotting Arizona- also pitting one state against another; his countenancing of Helen Thomas’ anti-Israel and anti-Semitic rants setting a poor example; dropping prosecution of the New Black Panther Party in the Philadelphia voter intimidation case; maintaining strong associations with black racists such as Cornel West, Henry Jones, Louis Farrakhan, Jay-Z, etc.)
Internationally, by denigrating America and apologizing for it, insulting and /or decreasing support and protection for our long-time allies (Great Britain, Israel, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Honduras, etc.), remaining silent in the defense of freedom and democracy (ignoring the Iranian people uprising against the theocratic repressive Islamic regime), talking loudly but carrying a very tiny stick (none to useless threats to Iran; loser in nuclear talks to Russia/Putin) and denying Islamic terrorist we are unquestionably witnessing the expected consequences.
Our enemies are emboldened and that spells death and disaster. There has been an explosion of terrorism attempts (fortunately they have thus far failed) in this country since he took office. Iran is progressing unimpeded in its quest for nuclear weapons which it will use – and which will precipitate a conflagration of unparalleled proportions. Turkey and other countries see a green light to be aggressive to Israel. Venezuela is saber rattling even more and upsetting the stability in South America.
And the list goes on.
Obama is not fit to be President. He must be removed from office to protect our country and the world!
Open Season On The Jewish State
Investors Business Daily 06/08/2010
In its latest slight, the White House temporarily withdrew an invitation to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following Israel's killing of nine.

Israel: Of all the ironies of the Obama presidency, the strangest is now unfolding: The election to purge American racism somehow lowered the bar for anti-Semitism.
The 89-year-old Helen Thomas had been roosting in the front row of the White House press briefing room for decades. Yet her ugly feelings that Jews should get the hell out of Palestine and return "home" to Poland or Germany or America — or wherever it is the Jews belong — took this long to bubble up out of the cauldron of her gut in proximity to a camera.
The now ex-doyenne of the White House Press Corps was long known as no friend of the Jewish state, but somehow the intentional chill that the Obama administration has engineered in U.S.-Israeli relations has reduced the caution regarding attacking the state of Israel, and undoubtedly helped set her off.
It's almost like people sensing that the brawny big brother, America, has grown tired of going to the trouble of escorting his persecuted little brother, Israel, through the neighborhood. And all that long-suppressed resentment is beginning to burst out now that the protector is not on hand.
"Israel is finally getting its comeuppance" seems to be the perception of many of the critics of the Middle East's only democracy, save for U.S.-liberated Iraq.
In wondering how someone in public life, who was in her 20s when the Nazis were slaughtering millions of Jews in Germany and Poland, could act like the caricature of a bigot from an earlier era, it's impossible not to consider the disintegration over the past 16 months of our relationship with our staunchest Mideast ally.
The latest slight was the temporary withdrawal of an invitation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to come to the White House after Israeli forces killed nine aboard a Turkish-backed flotilla trying to break an Israeli blockade of Gaza last week.
It turns out, according to reports, that the administration's rejection of Israeli intelligence reports and consequent refusal to provide advanced weapons led to Netanyahu refusing to authorize the use of tear gas and other anti-riot measures. After Israeli commandos were soon outmatched by Turkish personnel, live fire was ordered by the Israeli naval commander.
The White House demand that Israel "exercise extreme caution and restraint," as a diplomat told WorldTribune.com, apparently ended up costing lives. Would this "Freedom Flotilla" have even attempted to break an Israeli blockade if Israel still had our strong backing? And would Iran be threatening to use its Revolutionary Guards to help smash the blockade with a naval escort?
Would the United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency be placing Israel's nuclear weapons power status on its governing board's agenda this month for the first time in nearly two decades if the American-Israeli relationship wasn't deteriorating?
Would the likes of bush-league diplomatic players such as Turkey and Brazil be coming out of the woodwork with a deal to threaten even the tepid sanctions against an Islamofascist regime in Iran that will soon be able to launch a nuclear warhead against Israel?
A good case could be made that little or none of this would be happening if the U.S. had not let it be known, in various ways, that it wasn't going to be supporting Israel the way it used to.
With photos circulating of the president hugging Helen Thomas in the press room, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs scrambled to condemn her remarks as "offensive and reprehensible." And then the president followed with a personal condemnation.
But distancing itself from Thomas' bigotry doesn't allow the president to escape blame. Like former President Jimmy Carter, who used the flotilla incident to accuse Israel of "besieging Gaza" and claim that because of Israel, "the people of Gaza remain isolated and deprived of their basic human rights," this administration believes Israel should be blamed for defending itself from terrorism.
In fact, the Jewish state, surrounded by bloodthirsty enemies, should be lauded for its restraint over the decades, not subject to further persecution.

If it is possible that some Americans are still oblivious to Obama’s true allegiances, the recent events off the coast of Israel should clarify it further. Of course, one just has to examine his long, though intentionally suppressed (by him and the sycophantic news media) history of radicalism and associations with individuals of such ilk to understand that his actions comport completely with this ideology. Like his long friendships and reverence of Weatherman domestic terrorist William Ayers and Rashid Khalidi, the pro-Palestinian and erstwhile PLO spokesperson and supporter – just to name a few.
The first article below, written by Aaron Klein, reveals the duplicity of Obama and his close associates and friends in the Middle East situation. Their intentional provocation of Israel has provided Obama the story line to publicly rebuke that country and galvanize support for the Palestinians which is, of course, where his sentiments lie. This position contravenes that of a vast majority of Americans and the position that the United States has taken since that country’s founding in 1948.
This is another example Obama’s despicable and egregious treatment of our longtime Allies.
Noting this, we also need to look at the big picture, particularly his pattern of behavior.
Is this a President who we could trust to protect our rights and freedoms and who is there to serve us all?
Most definitely not!
Virtually everything that he has done points to a consolidation and aggrandizement of government powers with ever increasing restrictions of our rights, freedoms, choices and confiscation of the fruits of our labors. Furthermore, he has encircled our Constitutional government around 40 appointed radical czars who answer to no one but him. In the trenches among us are his ideological and corrupt armies comprised of ACORN and union members, especially SEIU, who serve as enforcers. Coverage, exposure and critical analysis of nearly all of this is being suppressed by the fawning but also unwittingly controlled news media.
Unless we all respond appropriately and thwart his (and others, of course) radical agenda, the future of a free America appears bleak.
All aboard! Obama pals back violent Gaza flotilla
Activists from president's circle of friends top supporters of anti-Israel protest ships
By Aaron Klein May 31, 2010 WorldNetDaily
The group behind the Gaza flotilla that engaged in deadly clashes with Israeli commandos today counts among its top supporters the friends and associates of President Barack Obama, namely the founders of the Weather Underground terrorist organization, William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, as well as Jodie Evans, the leader of the radical activist organization Code Pink.

Obama pals, flotilla backers: William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn
Earlier today, Israeli navy commandos raided the six-ship flotilla, encountering heavy resistance and live fire from the activists. Several activists were killed and dozens of others were reportedly injured, as were several of the Israeli commandos.
The flotilla was organized by the Free Gaza Movement, a coalition of leftist human rights activists and pro-Palestinian groups engaged in attempts to break a blockade imposed by Israel on the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.
Ayers, Dohrn and Evans' Code Pink have led several recent Free Gaza Movement initiatives, including attempted marches into the Gaza Strip. Dorhn was in the Middle East just last month on behalf of the movement.
Ayers and Dohrn were close associates for years with President Obama, while Evans was a fundraiser and financial bundler for Obama's presidential campaign.
In January, WND reported Ayers, Dohrn and Evans were involved in provoking chaos on the streets of Egypt in an attempt to enter Gaza with the Free Gaza Movement to join in solidarity with the territory's population and leadership.
The three helped to stir riots after the Egyptian government refused to allow a large number of protesters to enter neighboring Gaza. Eventually, the protesters accepted an Egyptian offer of allowing about 100 marchers into Gaza. Once in the territory, those marchers were reportedly met on the Gaza side by Hamas' former Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.
At the time of the march, Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., wrote a letter in support of a "humanitarian delegation from Massachusetts" to Gaza. Members of Ayers', Dohrn and Evans' group documented on their blogs how Kerry's letter was used at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo while attempting to pressure Egypt to let their group into Gaza.
Images of the letter were also posted on the Electronic Intifada website run by Ali Abunimah, who was with Evans' group in Egypt and who, WND previously reported, spoke at pro-Palestinian events in the 1990s alongside Obama. In one such event, a 1999 fundraiser for Palestinian "refugees," Abunimah recalled introducing Obama on stage.
Kerry's office previously met with Code Pink members, WND has learned. Sarah Roche-Mahdi of Code Pink also is a member of the United for Peace and Justice Palestine Task Force, which met with Kerry's staffers.
Kerry last year became the most senior U.S. politician to visit the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, although at the time he did not meet with Hamas leaders.
Dohrn later wrote on a blog that she was briefly detained at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo following the January protests there by her group: "Bill and I went to the American Embassy at 10 a.m. and asked to see the ambassador. We were ushered into a holding pen a block away from the embassy building where we joined 35 people already there, surrounded by Egyptian soldiers," she wrote.
Deadly clashes
Israeli Naval Forces intercepted the flotilla today attempting to break the maritime closure of the Gaza Strip.
An Israel Defense Forces spokesperson told WND commandos boarded the ships after numerous warnings from Israel requesting the ships redirect toward the Israeli port of Ashdod, where they would be able to unload their aid supplies, which could then be transferred to the Gaza Strip after undergoing security inspections.
During the boarding of one of the ships, the Marmara, activists onboard attacked IDF naval personnel with live fire and light weaponry including knives and clubs, the IDF spokesperson said.
"The demonstrators had clearly prepared their weapons in advance for this specific purpose," said the spokesperson. "As a result of this life-threatening and violent activity, naval forces first employed riot dispersal means, followed by live fire.
"IDF naval personnel encountered severe violence, including use of weaponry prepared in advance in order to attack them," said the spokesperson.
The IDF released a YouTube video clearly showing activists attacking Israeli commandos, including attacks with live fire.
Close Obama associates
Evans formed Code Pink, a far-left activist organization, in 2002 to protest America's war in Iraq. The group previously met with Hamas and with leaders of the Taliban. Evans was a fundraiser and financial bundler for Obama's presidential campaign.
Abunimah traveled in some of the same political circles as Obama in the 1990s. Abunimah previously described meeting with Obama at a fundraiser at the home of Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, reportedly a former PLO activist. Khalidi was also a close associate of Obama.
"[Obama] came with his wife. That's where I had a chance to really talk to him," Abunimah recalled. "It was an intimate setting. He convinced me he was very aware of the issues [and] critical of U.S. bias toward Israel and lack of sensitivity to Arabs. ... He was very supportive of U.S. pressure on Israel."
According to quotes obtained by Gulf News, Abunimah recalled a 2004 meeting in a Chicago neighborhood while Obama was running for his Senate seat. Abunimah quoted Obama telling him "warmly" he was sorry that "I haven't said more about Palestine right now, but we are in a tough primary race."
"I'm hoping when things calm down, I can be more up front," Abunimah reportedly quoted the senator as saying.
Abunimah said Obama urged him to "keep up the good work" at the Chicago Tribune, where Abunimah contributed guest columns that were highly critical of Israel.
Ayers, meanwhile, became a name in last year's presidential campaign when it was disclosed the radical worked closely with Obama for years.
Ayers helped launch Obama's political career with a fundraiser in his home. Obama served on the board of a Chicago nonprofit alongside Ayers. The terrorist later hired Obama to serve as chairman of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a job Obama later cited as experience that helped qualify him to run for public office.
While at the CAC, Obama and Ayers both granted funds to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN.
WND columnist Jack Cashill has produced a series of persuasive arguments that it was Ayers who ghostwrote Obama's award-winning autobiography, "Dreams from My Father."
Ayers and Dohrn were two of the main founders of the Weather Underground, which bombed the New York City Police headquarters in 1970, the Capitol in 1971 and the Pentagon in 1972. The group was responsible for some 30 bombings aimed at destroying the defense and security infrastructures of the U.S.
Characterizing the Weather Underground as "an American Red Army," Ayers summed up the organization's ideology: "Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home. Kill your parents."
"Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon," Ayers recalled in his 2001 memoir, "Fugitive Days." "The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them."
Ayers brandished his unrepentant radicalism for years later, as evidenced by his now notorious 2001 interview with the New York Times, published one day after the 9/11 attacks, in which he stated, "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough."
Ayers posed for a photograph accompanying the New York Times piece that showed him stepping on an American flag. He said of the U.S.: "What a country. It makes me want to puke."

Why Didn't Obama Order Veto Of U.N. Security Council Resolution Condeming Israel?
Hugh Hewitt June 01, 2010
The president's hostility to Israel flared again yesterday, with his concurrence in a U.N. Security Council resolution condemning Israel.
There is simply no way the United States or the other members of the Council are in a position to know what happened with sufficient detail to allow for such a resolution except for reflexive anti-Israeli sentiment. Peter Beinart can proclaim with certainty that the guilt lies with Israel's leaders and Israel's U.S. supporters, and there are plenty of voices inside Israel blasting the decision to stop the convoy.
But it is the job of the United States to prevent the Security Council from becoming just another "bash Israel" forum and make sure that all of the facts are known and that Israel --our most reliable ally in the region and the front line against the mullahs in Iran and their operatives in Lebanon and Gaza-- is not unfairly pummeled with the aftermath of an intentional provocation that ought not to have occurred in the first place given the embargo. Israel's response is just beginning to emerge, but already the U.S. has joined with the usual enemies of Israel to denounce the country.
How would the U.S. respond to an overland convoy of aid material to the heart of Taliban-controlled Afghanistan that is intended for the benefit of the forces carrying out war against the government of Afghanistan and their U.S. and western allies? Would Beinart urge that we allow such convoys to simply enter the area? If the convoy refused to stop at checkpoints, would he shrug his shoulders and say fine?
Beinart says the embargo of Gaza isn't working. But there are far fewer rockets falling on Israel today than there were before the Gaza incursion last year. There are still occasional attacks and fatalities, so there is no basis for claiming that Hamas has reformed or is evolving into something other than a terrorist organization.
Of course the world would prefer that Israel be able to interdict resupply of terrorists without loss of life, and the ship should have gone to the Israeli port for inspection. It is a complicated, dangerous situation.
But President Obama advances resolution of the situation not one inch by joining in the pounding of Israel. The unprecedented level of hostility to Israel from an American Administration continues, and Israel and its supporters must recognize that President Obama is not a reliable supporter when the going gets very tough indeed.

Iran is an implacable enemy that will relentlessly pursue the development of nuclear weapons and will not respond to any actions short of military intervention.
Israel takes Iran’s threats to annihilate and incinerate it absolutely seriously and in all likelihood will preemptively attack it if it appears that no other options are available.
Meanwhile, Obama threatens and treats our staunch ally Israel and its Prime Minister despicably over plans to build apartment buildings in Jerusalem yet voices appeasing words for our enemy and terrorist sponsoring nation Iran which is overtly developing nuclear weapons for intended use.
Neither country nor leaders of the rest of the world take Obama seriously except as seriously incompetent, misguided, inexperienced, weak and confused.
And that is a serious problem the whole world has to deal with!
So Now We Know: No Plan B For Iran
Investors Business Daily 04/19/2010
Iran: A leaked memo from the defense secretary reveals the administration has no alternatives to stop Iran's nuclear push if "soft power" fails. This should be a wake-up call, but we continue snoozing toward Armageddon.
President Obama campaigned on the notion that not talking to tyrants was not an option or a workable policy. He said he'd be willing to talk with anybody anywhere to bring peace and relieve tensions. Unlike President Theodore Roosevelt, however, he has been talking softly but forgetting about the big stick.
A memo written by Defense Secretary Robert Gates and unearthed by the New York Times confirms our suspicions that, while the administration occasionally raised its voice on Iran, there in fact existed no contingency plans to use the proverbial big stick if what is called "soft power" didn't dissuade Tehran from building a nuke.
Gates' analysis of our Iranian posture was written in January to President Obama's national security adviser, Gen. James L. Jones.
According to the Times report, the memo "appears to reflect concern in the upper echelons of the Pentagon and the military that the White House did not have a well-prepared series of alternatives in place in case all the diplomatic steps finally failed."
The memo is said to have sparked the development of such contingency plans that are still in the early stages. Meanwhile, Iran continues to enrich uranium toward the 20% purity level and is adding advanced centrifuges while working on warhead designs and the missiles to deliver them.
For our part, we have abandoned contingency plans to deploy ground-based missile interceptors in Poland and tracking radars in the Czech Republic in favor of less-satisfactory substitutes. We are more concerned, it seems, about 1,600 apartments to be built in three years' time in a Jewish suburb in East Jerusalem.
We talk to thugs while we humiliate an ally, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at the White House.
Obama has said to the thugs of the world, particularly to Iran, that "we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist." Judging by his relentless pursuit of nuclear weapons in response to our futile entreaties, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is responding with a hand gesture of another kind.
"It is a vital national security interest of the United States to reduce these conflicts because whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower, and when conflicts break out, one way or another we get pulled into them," Obama said last week.
Whether we like it or not?!
This does not appear to be a president capable of giving the order to strike even if we had plans to strike. We're too busy disarming and apologizing for our power and our past willingness to use it in the defense of ourselves and our allies.
Israel makes no such apologies. In 1981, it destroyed Iraq's nuclear reactor at Osirak. And in 2007, it bombed into obliteration a North Korean-supplied secret nuclear reactor in Syria. It has well-prepared plans to strike Iran.
The clock, and the Iranian nuke, is ticking. James Lindsay and Ray Takeyh, writing in this month's Foreign Affairs, declare: "If Iran's nuclear program continues to progress at its current rate, Tehran could have the nuclear material needed to build a bomb before U.S. President Barack Obama's current term in office expires."
It is getting perilously close to the time when either we or Israel will, as fighter pilots like to say, have to kick the tires and light the fires. We'd better plan for it.

We have previously commented on Obama’s imprudent and reckless new nuclear weapons usage policy which irrefutably places us both at greater risk of attack with loss of the deterrence factor and impedes our ability to respond appropriately and effectively (Even A 4th Grader Would Know That Obama’s New Nuclear Policy Is Wrong). In the following scathing editorial by Charles Krauthammer, he adds some unintended consequences to this as well which are immensely significant – both for us and the rest of the world.
President Obama's Naive Nuclear Posturing
By Charles Krauthammer 04/09/2010
Nuclear doctrine consists of thinking the unthinkable. It involves making threats and promising retaliation that is cruel and destructive beyond imagining. But it has its purpose: to prevent war in the first place.
During the Cold War, we let the Russians know that if they dared use their huge conventional military advantage and invaded Western Europe, they risked massive U.S. nuclear retaliation. Goodbye Moscow. Was this credible? Would we have done it? Who knows? No one's ever been there. A nuclear posture is just that — a declaratory policy designed to make the other guy think twice.
Our policies did. The result was called deterrence. For half a century, it held. The Soviets never invaded. We never used nukes. That's why nuclear doctrine is important.
The Obama administration has just issued a new one that "includes significant changes to the U.S. nuclear posture," said Defense Secretary Bob Gates. First among these involves the U.S. response to being attacked with biological or chemical weapons.
Under the old doctrine, supported by every president of both parties for decades, any aggressor ran the risk of a cataclysmic U.S. nuclear response that would leave the attacking nation a cinder and a memory.
Again: Credible? Doable? No one knows. But the threat was very effective.
Under President Obama's new policy, however, if the state that has just attacked us with biological or chemical weapons is "in compliance with the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)," explained Gates, then "the U.S. pledges not to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against it."
Imagine the scenario: Hundreds of thousands are lying dead in the streets of Boston after a massive anthrax or nerve gas attack. The president immediately calls in the lawyers to determine whether the attacking state is in compliance with the NPT. If it turns out that the attacker is up-to-date with its latest IAEA inspections, well, it gets immunity from nuclear retaliation. (Our response is then restricted to bullets, bombs and other conventional munitions.)
However, if the lawyers tell the president that the attacking state is NPT noncompliant, we are free to blow the bastards to nuclear kingdom come.
This is quite insane. It's like saying that if a terrorist deliberately uses his car to mow down a hundred people waiting at a bus stop, the decision as to whether he gets (a) hanged or (b) 100 hours of community service hinges entirely on whether his car had passed emissions inspections.
Apart from being morally bizarre, the Obama policy is strategically loopy. Does anyone believe that North Korea or Iran will be more persuaded to abjure nuclear weapons because they could then carry out a biological or chemical attack on the U.S. without fear of nuclear retaliation?
The naivete is stunning. Similarly the Obama pledge to forswear development of any new nuclear warheads, indeed, to permit no replacement of aging nuclear components without the authorization of the president himself. This under the theory that our moral example will move other countries to eschew nukes.
On the contrary. The last quarter-century — the time of greatest superpower nuclear arms reduction — is precisely when Iran and North Korea went hell-bent into the development of nuclear weapons.
It gets worse. The administration's Nuclear Posture Review declares U.S. determination to "continue to reduce the role of nuclear weapons in deterring non-nuclear attacks." The ultimate aim is to get to a blanket doctrine of no first use.
This is deeply worrying to many small nations who for half a century relied on the extended U.S. nuclear umbrella to keep them from being attacked or overrun by far more powerful neighbors.
When smaller allies see the United States determined to move inexorably away from that posture — and for them it's not posture, but existential protection — what are they to think?
Fend for yourself. Get yourself your own WMDs. Go nuclear if you have to. Do you imagine they are not thinking that in the Persian Gulf? This administration seems to believe that by restricting retaliatory threats and by downplaying our reliance on nuclear weapons, it is discouraging proliferation.
But the opposite is true. Since World War II, smaller countries have agreed to forgo the acquisition of deterrent forces — nuclear, biological and chemical — precisely because they placed their trust in the firmness, power and reliability of the American deterrent.
Seeing America retreat, they will rethink. And some will arm. There is no greater spur to hyper-proliferation than the furling of the American nuclear umbrella.

In a very clear, logical, and convincing speech, Liz Cheney criticized Obama for his recklessly apologizing for America and weakening our positions of leadership and power in the world which engenders belligerence and attacks from our enemies who see us as inept, confused, weak and lacking resolve. She also berated him for his indefensible positions vis-à-vis Iran.
Here, with America’s security in the balance, Republicans, Democrats and Independents should speak as one to the administration: President Obama, stop apologizing for this great nation and start defending her."

On foreign policy and the recently promulgated nuclear policy, Obama is as inept, misguided and impotent as could be possibly imagined. Our enemies worldwide know it and are exploiting these monumentally abysmal policies.
As for our allies, given Obama's disrespect and arrogance, we have significant problems as well.

You may or may not like Sarah Palin but she can sure simplify and deliver a message that most people can understand and relate to. Her criticism of Obama’s naive and reckless new policy of removing the nuclear reprisal deterrent in situations where the United States is attacked is unquestionably correct. The average American knows it. Even a 4th grader would tell you that Obama is dead wrong.
Fourth grader’s example: A much smaller kid comes up to you and starts arguing and threatening to punch you for no reason. You first tell him to walk away and that it is not in anyone’s best interest to fight. If he ignores you, you tell him in no uncertain terms that if he lays even one finger on you, you will beat the #!%*&! out of him until he is one bloody, swollen and deformed pulp. The smaller kid will virtually always turn around and run away.
It is Obama who is manifestly clueless and incompetent and who is placing Americans at grave risk of attack.
Obama: Palin's No Expert on Nuclear Strategy
FOXNews.com April 8, 2010
Obama was responding to a comment made on Fox News' "Hannity," comparing the president's plan to a kid asking to be punched in the face on the playground and vowing not to hit back.
Sarah Palin is no nuke expert, President Obama said Thursday in a TV interview, responding to Palin's criticism of Obama's new nuclear strategy.
Obama was asked about a comment the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee made on Fox News' "Hannity," comparing the president's plan to a kid asking to be punched in the face on the playground and vowing not to hit back.
"Last I checked, Palin's not an expert on nukes," Obama told ABC News. "If the secretary of defense and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff are comfortable, I'll take my advice from them and not Sarah Palin."
Obama has taken heat from the right for a shift in nuclear strategy that would limit the potential uses of nuclear weapons -- even in self defense -- while making exceptions for nations like Iran that have flouted international sanctions.
"It's unbelievable. Unbelievable. No administration in America's history would, I think, ever have considered such a step that we just found out that President Obama is supporting today," Palin, a former Alaska governor and now a Fox News contributor, said Wednesday in an interview with Sean Hannity.
"You know that's kind of like getting out there on the playground a bunch of kids ready to fight and one of the kids saying go ahead, punch me in the face and I'm not going to retaliate. Go ahead and do what you want to with me," she said. "No, it is unacceptable.

In a little over 14 months, Obama has displayed an unparalleled combination of incompetence, dishonesty, arrogance and narcissism that far exceeds that of any previous President. Placing the assessment in perspective, this excludes his far-left/radical ideological positions which would then position him in a faraway galaxy.
Another reason for Jimmy Carter to smile. There is actually a President that is worse than he was.
In this brief period of time, Obama has offended or disrespected nearly all of our close allies – from Great Britain and Israel to even Poland. Other countries with whom we have had close ties in the past don’t trust us because of what he has been stating and doing (such as Honduras). Our enemies and less than friendly countries such as Russia, China, Venezuela and Iran, see Obama as extremely weak and vulnerable.
These flaws and weaknesses are manifestly apparent to most. Conservative commentator, Burt Prelutsky, wrote the following in his column:
"I sincerely hope that when the president goes in for his annual check-up, the doctors at Bethesda will do a brain scan. Surely something must be terribly wrong with a man who seems to be far more concerned with a Jew building a house in Israel than with Muslims building a nuclear bomb in Iran."
This wasn’t written in response to Obama’s reprehensible treatment of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu during his recent visit to the White House. It was actually posted last year, on June 12, 2009.
Obama is getting worse, not better…

The United States’ world leadership and defense of democracy, principles, and righteousness has plummeted faster than housing prices the last few years or Obama’s approval ratings the last 6 months. Unfortunately, our Government’s irrational and outrageous abdication of its responsibilities may place hundreds of millions of people worldwide at grave risk and eventuate in a nuclear Armageddon with Iran at the epicenter.
This is a formidable problem that should have been aggressively addressed by military force under the Bush Administration but wasn’t. Inexcusable negligence. The Obama Administration has only made matters worse… and essentially hopeless if Iran is to be stopped from developing and deploying nuclear weapons of which their intent is infinitely clear. Talking has been going on for at least 8 years without any iota of major progress. Even your average non-union member Village Idiot would confidently exclaim: Discussion time is over. BOMB IRAN!
Will Israel save the world? We better hope so and provide her our unwavering and total support, politically and economically.
Secretary Of Defenselessness
Investors Business Daily
Iran: Incredibly, the Bush national security team's sole holdover has announced Peace in Our Time as the only hope against a nuclear Tehran. There is no defense for Secretary Robert Gates.
Appearing in Paris with the French defense minister on Monday, U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates made an announcement to the world that will astonish our friends and embolden our enemies.
"We must still try and find a peaceful way to resolve this issue," Gates said of the never-ending defiance of the free world by Iran's Islamofascist regime as it moves ever closer to becoming a nuclear weapons power.
"The only path that is left to us at this point, it seems to me, is that pressure track," Gates added. "But it will require all of the international community to work together."
Anyone care to hold your breath on that last hope?
After meeting for an hour with French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Monday, Gates and he "agreed that the time has come for the adoption of strong sanctions, in the hope that dialogue will be resumed," a Sarkozy aide said.
The time has come? That must be what passes for black humor in Paris these days. The time for getting tough with the Iranians came years ago.
And anyway, what value does a joint statement from the U.S. and France against Iran have? U.S. diplomats on Monday were putting on a good face about France's decision to send 80 — count 'em — more personnel to help the U.S. with what President Obama has called the central front in the war on al-Qaida in Afghanistan.
Add to that France's plans to send amphibious assault ships to Russia against our wishes, with the rationale that Russia, has "changed deeply" since losing the Cold War, and so it's time to nurture a new relationship.
They might ask the family of the murdered dissident Alexander Litvinenko, poisoned by a radioactive isotope in 2006, how nurturing Russian ruler Vladimir Putin is. Or ask the former Soviet bloc nations seeking missile defense from Russia.
At any rate, something seems to have happened that spoiled all the love and respect our cool, new commander in chief was supposed to be getting from the land of Robespierre, so unlike the treatment afforded that Europhobic Texan predecessor of his.
Think what Tehran thinks when it hears the defense secretary of this and the previous presidency say that the only path left to the world's lone superpower — and, by extension, to the community of civilized nations — is more sanctions.
"The key," Gates said in Paris, "is persuading the Iranian leaders that their long-term best interests are best served by not having nuclear weapons, as opposed to having them. And so I think that an approach along these lines, as long as the international community is seen pressing vigorously to resolve this problem, my hope is we will then be able to keep this in economic and diplomatic channels."
That is a fundamental misunderstanding of what motivates those who rule Iran. The mullahs, the ayatollahs and their henchman who returned to the Iranian presidency in a rigged election last summer see "their long-term best interests" in supernatural terms.
The return of the 12th Imam, the destruction of the Jewish state in an apocalyptic holy war, an eternity spent in that giant brothel in the sky — those things dominate their thoughts, not the effects of economic sanctions or isolation from the international community.
It must be with that reality in mind that we consider what the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad think when the U.S. says, through Gates, that force is not an option.
We have a Western alliance, unallied even on fighting al-Qaida in Afghanistan, which spends years watching a jihadist regime work toward atomic weapons before it even seriously considers anything approaching real economic warfare against it, and which tells its enemies that force is out as a solution.
When a secretary of defense considers defense a nonoption, it's time to think about (as the president would say) pressing the reset button.

Iran has been openly and resolutely defiant to the rest of the world with its acceleration of the enrichment of uranium that is clearly intended for military purposes and it possesses the will and theology to use it. On the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has markedly ratcheted up the decibel level of its bellicose and threatening rhetoric aimed at the outside world while concurrently threatening its own citizens who oppose the regime. We have witnessed countless times the wanton brutality that it inflicts on its own people.
This is a country that may stop its violence and threats of regional and world destruction only with a regime change or a successful military attack on it. So far, the best and last hope of that strike appears to be from Israel. Short of that, Iran will complete its intended development of nuclear weapons followed then by their deployment.
A destabilization of the government facilitated by massive uprisings by the citizens along with some fire power is a very long shot possibility to ultimately thwart their usage of nuclear weapons by "peaceful" means. Unfortunately, the opposition presently has little weaponry to fight the government with. Making matters worse, the Obama Administration has been egregiously and negligently silent in support of the Iran’s citizenry even amidst the uprisings. He has shown no solidarity with the protesters which is the absolute least he could do. When he has to be berated by the vacuous, bumbling Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton to make some sort of statement, you know there are severe problems. Meanwhile in welcomed and positive contrast, the leaders of other Western countries have been notably and persistently vociferous in their support of the oppressed Iranian protesters.
Obama has been the antithesis of what an American President should be - a feckless, incompetent, clueless individual who is devoid of any significant leadership skills except when it comes to finding ways to exalting his own self-importance, thus feeding his insatiable narcissism. The American people know this. The world knows this. And Iran clearly knows this.
Unfortunately, this abysmal void of leadership and insight may lead to a nuclear Armageddon.

The following is among the most thorough but concise, cogent and eloquent articles detailing Obama’s hatred of America. It leaves no doubt as to his attitude and ideology – as if we really needed any convincing.
Of course, this all begs the question: What are we to do with a President who hates America and is dismantling it to fit the socialist/communist country that he envisions?
Impeachment?
The Man Who Despises America
By Mark Hyman
The very next paragraph is going to make the nut jobs on the far left excitable beyond belief. I am not referring to all Democrats or even a majority of liberals. I am singling out the "they've-lost-all-touch-with-reality" crowd. This includes Media Matters for America led by the admitted hit-and-run, drunk-driving serial liar. The group includes the unshaven, bathrobe-clad unemployed who live in their mother's basement and are devout followers of MoveOn.Org. It is also the bitter, aging spinster working at the New York Times, the morbidly obese documentary film maker, and cable TV news' resident drama queen who hosts MSNBC's Countdown. They are about to simultaneously suffer from brain aneurisms. So without further delay, I'll say it.
Barack Obama despises America.
When people who voted for Obama in 2008 -- including registered Democrats -- start speaking in normal conversational voices at dinner parties, neighborhood gatherings and PTA meetings that the over-inflated ego from Chicago has it "in for America," then it's clear most reasonable people have reached the same conclusion.
The central conviction of Obama's ideology is that America is guilty of limitless moral failures and is the chief architect of the world's ills. Obama has boundless enmity for America, its key institutions, and its longtime allies. Consider these facts.
The 30-years of Obama's post-adolescent life are radical by any measure. First, he grew up listening to the ramblings of committed Communist Frank Marshall Davis. It had such a profound effect on him that he wrote fondly of Davis in his first book. In fact, that book is replete with statement after statement about how the U.S. is deeply flawed. Most Americans believe in American exceptionalism. Not so with Obama.
Patriotic Americans would not have listened to the bigoted, anti-Semitic, hate-America rants of a fringe religious leader for 20 seconds let alone for 20 years. Yet, Obama who admitted he attended services at Trinity United Church at least twice a month for two decades called Jeremiah Wright his mentor and his moral sounding board.
Nor would most Americans cultivate a close friendship with an admitted domestic terrorist and his wife whose most notable life's accomplishments were to set off bombs that killed and maimed innocent people.
Joining Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright in organizing attendance at Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan's 1995 march on Washington is beyond imaginable. Especially after Farrakhan demonstrated public support for Colonel Muammar Qaddafi during the Libyan Leader's most bellicose years against the U.S., which included Libyan complicity in numerous terrorist attacks.
Obama's view of America in national security and foreign affairs is profoundly disappointing to say the least.
Americans overwhelmingly view the men and women who saved Europe and the Far East during World War II as comprising the Greatest Generation. By his comments and actions, President Obama obviously thinks otherwise.
Obama did not honor American greatness on the 60th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift while on his first European trip. Instead, he accused "America [of having] shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive" toward its European allies.
He also denigrated the accomplishments of the American G.I. during World War II in the Pacific theater when he offered a thinly veiled apology for the U.S. having dropped the A-bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Those acts brought the war to a swift conclusion, perhaps saving hundreds of thousands of lives when it appeared Japan was prepared to wage an island-by-island battle to the last man.
Obama ordered the release of the so-called CIA "torture memos," seriously damaging delicate intelligence relations with allied nations and placing at grave risk the safety of U.S. intelligence officers working overseas. The impact of his action handcuffs the ability of U.S. intelligence officials to protect the U.S. and American interests from acts of terrorism.
In a matter of weeks last spring, Obama gave deference to a variety of belligerent leaders while stiff-arming longtime American allies. First, he called for closer relations with Cuba while ignoring that nation's long list of continuing human rights abuses. Then he warmly welcomed Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez at an Organization of American States summit.
Next, he failed to respond and set the record straight after Nicaragua's Communist leader Daniel Ortega listed alleged U.S. crimes and atrocities during a nearly one-hour rant at the OAS meeting. It is unsettling that in his own remarks Obama incorrectly claimed the OAS has 36 members rather than the actual 34. Ortega and the hemisphere's other Socialist leaders claim the OAS would include 36 members if Cuba and an independent Puerto Rico were allowed to join. Mere coincidence or Freudian slip?
Immediately following the OAS embarrassments, Obama ignored a request from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to meet. Obama would repeat this snub six months later before agreeing at the last moment to meet Netanyahu after the Israeli leader was en route the U.S.
In his speech before the Muslim world, Obama made the patently absurd claim of equivalency between the status of displaced Palestinians and the slaughter of millions of Jews during the Holocaust. His claim that 7 million Muslims live in the U.S. is a figure inflated by as much as 700%.
In an earlier speech, Obama claimed that the U.S. is not a Christian nation, which is at odds with the fact that 79% of Americans self-identify as Christians and the nation's founders were devout Christians.
In less than six months in office, Obama apologized for Guantanamo Bay; for alleged mistakes committed by the CIA; for U.S. policy in the Americas; for America's history of slavery; for "sacrificing [American] values;" for "hasty decisions" in the war on terror; for "America's standing in the world;" for American errors in foreign policy; and for U.S. relations with the Muslim world.
He pronounced Iran's pursuit of nuclear technology acceptable and he warned Netanyahu against targeting Iran's nuclear facilities. Obama's approach to Iran is eerily similar to that of Jimmy Carter, whose actions contributed to the fall of that nation into the control of Islamic radicals.
This summer, the door to greater individual freedoms in Iran was firmly closed shut when Obama announced the U.S would not meddle in Iran's election and he offered no encouragement to democracy activists who protested the obviously stolen elections. His silence was deafening when regime security agents savagely attacked and killed countless Iranians who took to the streets.
In contrast to his deference to anti-American leaders such as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, and Daniel Ortega, Obama strong-armed Netanyahu on key Israeli matters. In addition to snubbing the Israeli Prime Minister's requests to meet, Obama demanded an end to Israeli settlements and insisted on the creation of a two-state Palestine solution.
Obama abandoned NATO members Poland and the Czech Republic by canceling the central Europe missile defense plan just as rogue nations North Korea and Iran make advances in nuclear and ballistic missile production. The cancellation was demanded by Moscow authorities who have adopted a more confrontational posture toward the west.
Solidarity with freedom-loving East Germans has been a staple of the American presidency for nearly 50 years. John Kennedy pronounced himself a Berliner. Ronald Reagan demanded Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev "Tear down this wall!" Yet, this bricks and mortar icon of first, Soviet totalitarianism, and then, second, the end of Soviet domination did not make the cut as Obama chose not to attend the 20th anniversary of the fall of the wall. In the summer of 2008, Obama altogether skipped mentioning the role of the U.S. -- or even the West, for that matter -- in bringing down the wall, instead crediting "a world that stands as one."
Obama's disagreement with American values and institutions is evident in domestic issues. He has stocked his administration with wild-eyed radicals who believe foreign law trumps the U.S. Constitution (Harold Koh); include an avowed Marxist and "truther" who believes George Bush was complicit in the 9/11 attack and is also an ardent supporter of cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal (Van Jones); and include a devoted admirer of Mao Tse-tung who slaughtered as many as 75 million people (Anita Dunn). (In contrast, George W. Bush's Attorney-General nominee John Ashcroft was savaged by the news media for being an Evangelical Christian.)
Three weeks after America's first black president was sworn in, the nation's first black Attorney-General who was hand-picked by Obama, called America "a nation of cowards" for some perceived race relations shortfall. The understood meaning of Eric Holder's comments is that white people are still racists. However, the reality is the people most preoccupied with fomenting the racial divide are those who populate the ranks of the Obama Administration.
Obama's Homeland Secretary designated military veterans as terrorists-in-waiting to be equally as dangerous as other domestic terrorists including pro-lifers and citizens opposed to the flood of illegal aliens.
One of Obama's very few suggestions to cut into his $1.4 trillion budget deficit was to have servicemen and women pay for their own war injuries. He's all for providing free health care to illegal aliens but believes wounded warriors should foot their own hospital bills. In fact, the Defense Department is about the only sector of government in which Obama has proposed slashing spending.
Hours after a belligerent "African-American Studies" Harvard professor engaged in behavior unbefitting anyone let alone a professional man, Obama accused the exceedingly tolerant Cambridge police officers as having "acted stupidly" and then digressed into how people of color have been unfairly treated by white America.
Bush was prolific in quietly and privately visiting the military wounded and family of the fallen. In contrast, Obama attempted to make political capital of his one visit to Dover Air Force Base. Obama's motives were so transparent that families of 17 of the 18 fallen denied permission for Obama to engage in a photo-op alongside the returning caskets.
In May, Obama immediately issued a statement that he was "shocked and outraged by the murder" of a Kansas doctor specializing in partial-birth abortions. He called it a "heinous act of violence." Attorney-General Holder mobilized U.S. Marshals nationwide to provide protection to abortion clinics.
But Obama remained silent the very next day when two U.S. soldiers were gunned down by a Muslim extremist outside a Little Rock recruiting station. After repeated prodding for a presidential comment, the White House faxed an after-hours statement to select media outlets two days later offering a tepid remark that Obama was "saddened" without even mentioning the soldiers were murdered.
Five months later, another Muslim fanatic gunned down nearly four dozen Americans, killing 13, at the Ft. Hood army base. It was an act that demanded the most serious demeanor of the military's Commander-in-Chief. Yet, Obama referenced the massacre in the most insincere fashion just seconds after a jocular shout-out to an audience member during a public speaking engagement. It was the equivalent of attending a funeral in swimwear while en route to the beach.
The odd inadvertent comment or occasional verbal faux pas can be explained away as just that. However, Obama has a lifetime of comments and actions including 10 months as president that belie his real attitude toward the U.S. The difference between Obama and his immediate predecessors such as Ronald Reagan, the George Bushes and Bill Clinton who actually revere and honor the greatness of America and its citizens and institutions cannot be overstated.

According to most of the liberal news media, it was a “gunman” who shot and killed 13 people and injured 31 at Fort Hood last week. Not a terrorist. He was also reported to have yelled out “Allah Akbar” prior to the attack. Must have been stressed out about his soon being deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan. Or was it post traumatic stress disorder?
Yeah. Nidal Malik Hasan. Couldn’t be any association with Islam or terrorism. Impossible!
In a posting on www.michellemalkin.com, the following was written about Nidal Hasan:
According to Terry Lee, a retired Army colonel who knew Hasan, told Fox News about a story he heard secondhand. He said a fellow colleague had told him that Hasan had made “outlandish comments” about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and US involvement in them and that “Muslims had a right to rise up and attack Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan.”
“[He] made comments about how we shouldn’t be over there – you need to lock it up, Muslims should stand up and fight against the aggressor,” Lee added.
Still there was not enough evidence to convince the media or Obama that Nidal Malik Hasan was a terrorist and committed an act of terrorism. Look at the newspaper headlines. Hear the newscasts. They all called him a gunman, not a terrorist.
Maybe if his name were John C. Smith III and he was a devout Christian – then they would all be calling him a terrorist – of course without any substantiating evidence.
According to ABC News, U.S. intelligence agencies knew months ago that Nidal Hasan had been attempting to contact people associated with al Qaeda. Maybe he was just trying to find a great recipe for making kick ass hummus.
Obama’s response was so despicable and pathetic … you would think that he was sympathizing with the terrorist. Yet, when it came to his buddy Henry Louis Gates Jr., Harvard Professor of African-American Studies, who was arrested by a white police officer in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he immediately spewed out racially divisive comments and allegations.
There is no doubt in the vast majority of American’s minds:
This was a terrorist attack committed by a homegrown Muslim.
Period.

Obama is using the White House as a venue for far left, anti-American influence peddling and for accruing greater power for the imposition of radical ideology on Americans. That is, of course, when Obama is there and not away playing golf or at another Democratic political fundraising event.
According to the intentionally limited information released by the Obama Administration regarding White House visitors, Andy Stern who is president of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), has visited at least 22 times already. The far left anti-American billionaire George Soros, of Moveon.org and more fame, has been there at least twice already.
Meanwhile, General Stanley McChrystal, who is the U.S. commander for our troops in Afghanistan and who more than two months ago had recommended an increase of troops there if we are to stand a chance to win the conflict, can’t seem to get an appointment with Obama. Our courageous troops are being killed or maimed in the conflict while Obama attends to his pleasures and anti-American ideologies.

The following editorial, written by Thomas Sowell, should serve as a clarion call to all Americans that our country, rights, freedoms and way of life are on the precipice of annihilation due to the inimical ideologies combined with contemptuous, nefarious, imperious politicians who desire unfettered power. In a very comprehensive yet succinct and persuasive manner, he states his case … which we must act on immediately and decisively before the situation becomes even more dire.
Dismantling America — Piece By Piece
By THOMAS SOWELL
Just one year ago, would you have believed that an unelected government official, not even a Cabinet member confirmed by the Senate but simply one of the many "czars" appointed by the president, could arbitrarily cut the pay of executives in private businesses by 50% or 90%?
Did you think that another "czar" would be talking about restricting talk radio? That there would be plans afloat to subsidize newspapers — to create a situation where some papers' survival would depend on the government liking what they publish?
Did you imagine that anyone would even be talking about having a panel of so-called "experts" deciding who could and could not get lifesaving medical treatments?
Scary as that is from a medical standpoint, it is also chilling from the standpoint of freedom. If you have a mother who needs a heart operation or a child with some dire medical condition, how free would you feel to speak out against an administration that has the power to make life-and-death decisions about your loved ones?
Does any of this sound like America?
How about a federal agency giving schoolchildren material to enlist them on the side of the president? Merely being assigned to sing his praises in class is apparently not enough.
How much of America would be left if the federal government continued on this path? President Obama has already floated the idea of a national police force, something we have done without for more than two centuries.
We already have local police forces all across the country and military forces for national defense, as well as the FBI for federal crimes and the National Guard for local emergencies.
What would be the role of a national police force created by Barack Obama, with all its leaders appointed by him? It would seem more like the brownshirts of dictators than like anything American. How far the president will go depends of course on how much resistance he meets. But the direction in which he is trying to go tells us more than all his rhetoric or media spin.
Barack Obama has not only said that he is out to "change the United States of America"; the people he has been associated with for years have expressed in words and deeds their hostility to the values, the principles and the people of this country.
Jeremiah Wright said it with words: "God damn America!" Bill Ayers said it with bombs that he planted. Community activist goons have said it with their contempt for the rights of other people.
Among those appointed as czars by Obama have been people who have praised enemy dictators like Mao, who have seen public schools as places to promote sexual practices contrary to the values of most Americans, to a captive audience of children.
Those who say that the Obama administration should have investigated those people more thoroughly before appointing them are missing the point completely. Why should we assume that Barack Obama didn't know what such people were like, when he has been associating with precisely these kinds of people for decades before he reached the White House?
Nothing is more consistent with his lifelong patterns than putting such people in government — people who reject American values, resent Americans in general and successful Americans in particular, as well as resenting America's influence in the world.
Any miscalculation on his part would be in not thinking that others would discover what these stealth appointees were like. Had it not been for the Fox News Channel, these stealth appointees might have remained unexposed for what they are. Fox News is now high on the administration's enemies list.
Nothing so epitomizes Obama's own contempt for American values and traditions like trying to ram two bills through Congress in his first year — each bill more than a thousand pages long — too fast for either of them to be read, much less discussed.
That he succeeded only the first time says that some people are starting to wake up. Whether enough people will wake up in time to keep America from being dismantled, piece by piece, is another question — and the biggest question for this generation.
Internationally, Obama has made every mistake that was made by the Western democracies in the 1930s, mistakes that put Hitler in a position to start World War II — and come dangerously close to winning it.
At the heart of those mistakes was trying to mollify your enemies by throwing your friends to the wolves. The administration has already done that by reneging on this country's commitment to put a missile defense shield in Eastern Europe and its lackadaisical foot-dragging on doing anything serious to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. That means, for all practical purposes, throwing Israel to the wolves as well.
Countries around the world that have to look out for their own national survival, above all, are not going to ignore how much Obama has downgraded the reliability of America's commitments.
Iraq, for example, knows that Iran is going to be next door forever, while Americans may be gone in a few years. South Korea likewise knows that North Korea is permanently next door, but who knows when the Obama administration will get a bright idea to pull out?
Countries in South America know that Hugo Chavez is allying Venezuela with Iran. Dare they ally themselves with an unreliable U.S.A.? Or should they join our enemies to work against us? This issue is too serious for squeamish silence.

There is no doubt that the Obama Administration has essentially declared war on Fox News and is expending considerable time and resources on this endeavor. Many influential members of the Democrat Party have voiced their opposition to his actions. He appears more focused on silencing his critics than addressing other more pressing issues like the economy, joblessness and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. As manifest evidence of his ideological perversion, he shows much greater animus toward Sean Hannity of Fox News than he does to the ruthless dictators Hugo Chavez, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Fidel Castro or even Kim Jong-il. Meanwhile, there are some communist countries celebrating Obama as a Marxist.
In his editorial regarding Fox News and dissent to Obama’s plans, Charles Krauthammer stated:
“The White House has declared war on Fox News. White House communications director Anita Dunn said that Fox is "opinion journalism masquerading as news."
He further notes that Obama “wants to delegitimize any significant dissent. The objective is no secret. White House aides openly told Politico that they're engaged in a deliberate campaign to marginalize and ostracize recalcitrants, from Fox to health insurers to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.”

We have come across a new website, KeepAmericaSafe.com, that should be of interest to you and which we can strongly recommend. Started by Elizabeth Cheney, the eldest daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, its intent is to fight the radical policies of the Obama administration which are making the nation weaker and vulnerable.
Their Mission Statement outlines its purpose and the present security scenario as:
“… to provide information for concerned Americans about critical national security issues. Keep America Safe seeks to influence public policy by encouraging dialogue between American citizens and their elected representatives in order to produce legislation and executive action that enhances the national security of the United States.
The United States remains a nation at war. We face a growing threat from rogue regimes that seek or have already obtained nuclear weapons. America’s interests are challenged by an authoritarian China, a resurgent Russia, and dictators in our own hemisphere who ally themselves with our adversaries. Amidst the great challenges to America’s security and prosperity, the current administration too often seems uncertain, wishful, irresolute, and unwilling to stand up for America, our allies and our interests.
Keep America Safe believes the United States can only defeat our adversaries and defend our interests from a position of strength.”
This website, www.saveyourrights.com, concentrates largely on addressing issues that impact our personal, social, economic and religious rights and freedoms from government controls, intrusions and dictates and other noxious domestic causes. KeepAmericaSafe.com is complementary in that it addresses our Federal government’s policies and their impact on our security and ultimately, therefore, foreign threats to our freedoms.

In a modern day reprisal of the legend of “Nero fiddling while Rome burned”, our Arrogance in Chief, Obama, is doing the same with Afghanistan. Our young men and women are dying there unnecessarily and Obama shows negligible interest. Instead of aggressively addressing the deteriorating military situation there, he has chosen to ignore it, an egregious dereliction of duty. He would rather feed his insatiable narcissistic appetite for adulation, attention and control with unrelenting appearances on talk shows, publicity stops and innumerable inconsequential speeches than to make decisions of import for which he is supremely unqualified.
Army Lieut. General Stan McChrystal, a former Green Beret with superior credentials who was selected in May to be commander of the U.S. and NATO troops in Afghanistan, made several military recommendations in writing to Obama in August in order to improve the situation and resolve the conflict. Little has been done. Despite the gravity of the situation there, Obama had spoken only once with McChrystal in over 80 days and not in person…until recently.
And what happened recently? Well, McChrystal had the “audacity” to express his feelings regarding our strategy (or lack thereof) in the war during a speech he delivered in London. He wants to fight this war appropriately and to win – a novel idea these days to the liberal Washington politicians. The Obama administration was offended and outraged with his bluntness and arranged a hasty, brief face to face meeting to issue a rebuke. In a classic case of irony, this was held aboard Air Force One on the tarmac in Copenhagen where Obama was to deliver his narcissistic pitch ostensibly for Chicago to be selected host of the 2016 Olympics. Talking about priorities…

Obama suffered significant personal humiliation by Chicago’s stunning exit in the very first elimination round of consideration by the Olympic Selection Committee for the 2016 Olympics. He thought his "superstar" status and "legendary in his own mind" power of persuasion would help his city win the ultimate prize. If you read the text of the speech, it was actually all about narcissistic Barack Obama. In less than two pages, he used the word "I" thirty times and brought up his running for President, his election as President, as well as his father, wife and children. Wasn't this suppose to be about why Chicago deserved the 2016 Olympics?
Obama has been deservedly attacked on his involvement and visit to Copenhagen, the first time a sitting President has made an appearance before the selection committee. As noted by GOP consultant Brad Blakeman, a former Bush Administration official:
"It demeans the office. For the president to be reduced to the effect of the Billy Mays pitchman for the United States to get the Olympics for his home city of Chicago is just not something that Presidents do… His priorities are screwed up and the American people are seeing that this President just doesn't get the effects and importance of governing.”
Blakeman also noted that Obama spent more time wooing International Olympic Committee officials than he did in his meeting with Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top commander in Afghanistan, before returning to Washington.
This is another example of the Obama’s pathological narcissism and arrogance, believing that his supernal charm and rhetoric are the only requisites needed to sway the masses or convince others to see it his way. It is also an inexcusable waste of at least $1.2 million taxpayer dollars that could have been better spent. And what about better spending your time on slightly more weighty matters like Afghanistan, Iraq, the economy...?

Though a majority of Americans either didn’t see or chose to ignore the radicalism, hate, racism, lies and deceptions, disingenuous rhetoric, arrogance and inexperience of Obama prior to the Presidential election, many of these people are coming to their senses now and are horrified at what they see. In fact, many are downright scared or even terrified. In just six months, America’s economic and political systems have metamorphosed by fiat more than any other time in our history. The end result is essentially fascism and socialism with a consolidation of power, reckless expansion of an arrogant government, ubiquitous governmental intrusion, irresponsible foreign policy, onerous taxes, wealth redistribution, class warfare, and laws and actions in direct conflict of our Constitution.
Leading this radical “change you can’t believe is happening” is Obama abetted by the ideologically far-left, filibuster proof Democrat controlled Congress. Speaker of the House Pelosi, the most far left and anti-American politician in Congress, runs the House of Representatives like a dictator and does much of his bidding. America is in deep trouble.
In the following editorial by the renowned economist, philosopher and columnist Thomas Sowell, he explicitly enumerates the many areas of concern that he has about Obama, his policies and the potential for unparalleled disaster in America.

North Korea’s dictator Kim Jong-Il may be a brutal, unpredictable tyrant but he is not stupid. He realizes the ineptness and naiveté of Obama’s responses thus far to a variety of threats around the globe and is exploiting these weaknesses. Of course, even a village idiot can see the follies of Obama’s incompetent responses, actions and inactions. North Korea is threatening the United States with nuclear conflagration, specifically Hawaii and the West Coast, so what are Obama’s responses? “We are monitoring the situation”. Will the U.S. also be a bystander photographing missiles targeting Hawaii to see how it all turns out? His other action was even more troubling and telling: cutting money devoted to missile defense systems that would be protecting the U.S.
So let’s sum this up. An enemy is threatening us with a nuclear attack and Obama’s responses are: 1.) We will just watch and see if they really mean what they say even if it means following the missiles all the way to Hawaii and 2.) Let’s cut our missile defense. We can use the money saved from the “unnecessary” defense of our country to fund pork laden bills and extravagant White House parties.
It is a good thing that one of Ronald Reagan's legacies is still protecting us: his Star Wars missile defense systems!

Obama’s actions and responses as well of lack thereof in support of democratic movements such as in Iran and Honduras are nothing short of abhorrent and irresponsible and by proxy, don’t reflect well on the United States which up to now has always been the bastion and protector of freedom. This should come as no surprise to those closely following his presidential campaign where pictures of the terrorist Che Guervarra were displayed in his offices which often did not have an American flag. There were also the public debates over his lack of wearing an American flag lapel pin which most other legislators customarily wore and his not acting appropriately for the Pledge of Allegiance.
The situation in Iran was quite clear – he said too little and too late in support of the oppressed citizens of Iran who were protesting against the government and a possible stolen election. In Honduras, a small country situated in Central America, the situation was quite different but the appropriate response that Obama should have taken was unequivocally clear. He should have immediately championed the brave position taken by the Honduran Supreme Court, the military and citizens of the country who wanted to preserve their democracy and prevent Zelaya, the president, from illegally changing the Constitution in order to become a dictator. Instead, Obama voiced vehement support for the deposed dictator to be, the same position taken by the notorious dictators Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and Daniel Ortega. Even the most uninformed, intellectually challenged individual will know that no matter what is involved, you don’t want to find yourself on the same side of an argument or position as these three tyrants. This position by Obama speaks volumes of who he really is personally, ideologically and politically.
The following editorial elucidates the Honduran situation in greater detail and how Obama’s disgraceful decision will reflect badly on the United States and our “moral authority” not just in Latin America but throughout the world.

America has always been a stalwart supporter of freedom and democracy. Citizens of repressive regimes worldwide wanting to obtain their rights and freedoms have always looked at the United States as the paragon of these ideals and as a vocal champion of their causes. Which brings up Iran and Obama. We have waited 30 years for this moment – an uprising of the people of Iran against the repressive theocracy under which they have had to endure. The protests have far exceeded anything expected, either by us or even the Mullahs. This is the government that is the world’s most active sponsor of terrorism including Hezbollah and Hamas and has funded proxies to fight us in Iraq.
So what has the Great One, Obama, said about Iran and the protestors? You mean you didn’t hear? Well, he actually said essentially nothing. Since day one of the protests, the Republican members of Congress have been voicing their support for the people of Iran. On Friday, June 20th, Congress affirmed its solidarity by an overwhelming majority. Rumors are that Vice-President Biden and Hillary Clinton have made strong recommendations to Obama that he release a more forceful statement in support of the protestors. On this matter, it seems that Obama, once again, just voted “present”. Not surprisingly, he has shown no leadership – a leadership vacuum. Hence: Obama Sucks!

Obama’s naivety, real world inexperience, groveling to the Arab countries and perceived (and REAL) image of weakness has allowed Iran to continue uncontested in its goal of developing a nuclear weapon. Unfortunately, the consequences of Iran possessing such a weapon can (will) be disastrous.
His thought processes overall here defy logic as discussed in the following editorial. Another note: ideology trumps rationality.

If you didn’t know better, you would think that Obama is a plant or pro tempore President supplied by another country. He has relentlessly been bashing our country, its policies and its citizens (us), wherever he travels abroad. To paraphrase his famous statement recently, “Americans can be arrogant, dismissive and derisive.” Instead of touting the United States as the World’s protector and champion of liberty and freedom, saving millions of lives and costing hundreds of thousands of our own to do so, he bemuses that we should not be imposing our values and ideals like these ones on others. Our President should be a resolute defender and cheerleader of our great country. Instead, he relentlessly denigrates it in a condescending way. Obama, you are the one who is arrogant, dismissive and derisive!
His comments and attitudes also have predictably emboldened our enemies to proceed unfettered and without fear with their malevolent plans. They see us as weak, bitterly divided, directionless and just plain vulnerable. Ripe for the picking. Kim Jong-il of North Korea doesn’t appear to be intimidated by us. Let’s see: North Korea conducts a large underground nuclear detonation followed a day later by the belligerent firing of multiple missiles. Now he has plans for an imminent launch of an ICBM capable of delivering a nuclear warhead which can travel 4000 miles, enough to reach Alaska. What has been our response? Oh, we will be monitoring the situation. And we need to get back to the negotiating table. Right! Kim Jong-il must surely be quaking in his boots.
It is the same story in Iran where the ramifications and collateral effects would be far more severe. Full steam ahead with their nuclear weapons program! What makes this situation even more egregious is that they know that the only country which has the chutzpah, capability and moral rectitude to stop them, Israel, has been directly warned and threatened by Obama in no uncertain terms not to conduct a preemptive attack.
Circumstances are evolving into a scenario that is a perfect storm for a nuclear holocaust.
