Tax and Spend: California’s Voters Soundly Reject These Policies by Ballot

The voters of California on May 19th, outraged by reckless government spending fueled by ever increasing and burdensome taxes, overwhelming defeated calls for more of the same. In addition, to further vent their anger, they defeated another ballot initiative that would have granted lawmakers pay increases. This is a clear mandate, a resounding repudiation by the voters of these tax and spend policies and a constructive sequel to the Tea Parties. Hopefully, it is also a harbinger of positive changes for in the near future for the rest of this country.
