In another one of Andrew Klavan’s creative tongue in cheek political commentaries, he explains and exposes the real issues and factors regarding public unions in an entertaining and quite informative fashion.
Jesse Jackson, Jr. is a chip off the old liberal demagogue block. His father should be proud.
The rest of America, that is, the one that is working hard to support themselves and their families should be outraged once again.
This is a plea for more of the big government liberal agenda to further burden the overtaxed taxpayer into having more of their paycheck vaporized in support of those who are largely irresponsible and indolent.
More government sanctioned wealth/income transfer.
An investigation by WSB TV in Atlanta uncovered approximately $700 million in taxpayer dollars that have been sent abroad to repair Mosques in several countries. In addition, money has also been spent by our State Department to buy computers and obtain internet access.
These mosques are the very dens of iniquity from which the radical imams preach their vitriol of America and the West and facilitate terrorist acts. Not only is this an egregious waste of taxpayer dollars that we don’t even have, but this action of ostensible appeasement is seen by these radicals as just another sign of weakness. Our State Dept. is essentially providing Islamic extremists places and means to proselytize Muslims, foment and plan terrorist attacks.
This is an absolute scathing commentary by an expert regarding Obama's utter ineptitude and amateurishness regarding foreign policy, directed partially at the Egyptian crisis. The questioning MSNBC far left cheerleaders are horrified by his unbridled attacks - as this is their messiah who is being taken to the woodshed, shot and quartered.
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas recently spoke to a conservative group regarding the crucial importance of Americans becoming well educated about the workings of our country so that we can well defend our liberties and any threats to them. This was essentially directed at the present radical transformation of this country orchestrated by Obama and his fellow Progressive henchmen.
If we don't fight back, we lose our country.
‘Defending Liberty’: Defiant Clarence Thomas Slams Critics for ‘Undermining’ High Court
Scott Baker February 27, 2011
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas – his impartiality under attack from liberals because of his attendance at a meeting of conservative donors sponsored by the Koch brothers and his wife’s tea party activism – struck a defiant tone in a Saturday night speech in Charlottesville, Va., telling a friendly audience that he and his wife “believe in the same things” and “are focused on defending liberty.”
Delivering the keynote speech at an annual symposium for conservative law students, Thomas spoke in vague, but ominous, terms about the direction of the country and urged his listeners to “redouble your efforts to learn about our country so that you’re in a position to defend it.”
He also lashed out at his critics, without naming them, asserting they “seem bent on undermining” the High Court as an institution. Such criticism, Thomas warned, could erode the ability of American citizens to fend off threats to their way of life.
“You all are going to be, unfortunately, the recipients of the fallout from that – that there’s going to be a day when you need these institutions to be credible and to be fully functioning to protect your liberties,” he said, according to a partial recording of the speech provided to POLITICO by someone who was at the meeting.
The antithesis of Obama. A breath of fresh air. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin.
Already, he sounds far more sincere, knowledgeable, articulate and charismatic than virtually any other Republican politician out there who may have a chance at the Presidential nomination in 2012. Presently, he claims not to be ready nor have ambitions at this time.
Rep. Paul Ryan may be our best hope of the theoretical Republican Presidential candidates. (The other consideration is Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey who has expressed similar sentiments as those of Ryan.)
In his first 2 years as “president”, Obama has revealed himself not to be the leader of all Americans but instead of only certain select groups. We have seen his racist ideologies and proclivities through myriad examples (Reverend Jeremiah Wright; 10 year membership in black liberation theology, racist, anti-American Trinity United Church of Christ; National of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan; Attorney General Eric Holder and the culture of racism (black rights trump white rights) at the Dept. of Justice; the Cambridge police incident; etc.)
His pro-union stance has been quite evident even before the election. It has only solidified with their assistance in electing him “president”. The vehemence of this position and the extents that he goes to support and protect them are … indefensible. To wit: his illegal arrogation of assets from GM to the unions instead of secured holders in violation of constitutional law.
In Wisconsin now as well as elsewhere, he is insinuating himself in local situations, siding with the unions and against the state’s taxpayers and citizens. His words and actions are unwarranted, divisive and destructive.
None of this is a surprise which is why the sooner that he is gone, the better it is for the average hardworking American.
Obama: I will 'paint the nation purple with SEIU'
Andrew Thomas
After viewing the video below we can now say with certainty which side President Obama is on concerning the Wisconsin public union protests. Mr. Obama is not a public union supporter, he is their national leader. This is rapidly becoming a nationwide manufactured "crisis", as orchestrated by SEIU and Obama's Organizing for America. Is this what he meant when he said he would make us a nation of purple states?
A silent, non-disruptive protest by a 71 year old military veteran during a Hillary Clinton speech was aggressively and unwarrantedly removed from the audience and arrested, sustaining multiple bruises and cuts in the process.
Veteran's Group Demands Apology From Sec. of State Clinton Claims vet was manhandled for silent protest
February 18, 2011
(NATIONAL) -- Could it be the U.S. government thinks peaceful, civilian protest against government is fine on the streets of Cairo, Egypt but not on U.S. soil?
As Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave a speech at George Washington University yesterday condemning governments that arrest protestors and do not allow free expression - and lauding freedom of speech on the Internet - 71-year-old military veteran Ray McGovern was grabbed from the audience in plain view of her by police and an unidentified official in plain clothes and hustled out of the building and, according to McGovern and his supporters, was “brutalized and left bleeding in jail.”
What McGovern did was simply remain standing silently in the audience and turned his back on her as Secretary Clinton began her speech.
That was it.
McGovern, a veteran Army officer who also worked as a C.I.A. analyst for 27 years, was wearing Veterans for Peace t-shirt.
Blind-sided by security officers who pounced upon him, McGovern remarked, as he was hauled out the door, "So this is America?"
According to Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, attorney with the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund, “For this peaceful expression of dissent, he ended up bruised, bloodied, arrested, and jailed. Secretary Clinton never paused, continuing her speech lecturing other countries about the need to allow freedom of expression and dissent, while Mr. McGovern was hauled out in front of her.”
McGovern was later found to have his arm covered with bruises. The metal handcuffs were fastened so tightly that his wrists were cut and some blood flowed from the cuts.
After being held by local police, McGovern was told he was being charged with disorderly conduct.
In Senate hearings on Obama's 2012 budget Sen. Sessions questions Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner about the massive interest charges arising from the accelerating debt burden stating that this situation is unsustainable.
What was Geithner's response?
He agreed fully with the assessment and essentially confirmed that Obama's budget is a fraud and an abdication of his responsibility to seriously address the looming fiscal apocalypse.
