More Unfortunate Consequences of Obama’s Racially Charged Statement
Most Americans agreed that Obama had no business interjecting himself into what would probably have been a fairly insignificant local police situation involving the black professor and white police officer in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Instead, this has turned into a major racial story that has had a profound impact on the lives of five individuals, three of which did nothing wrong. The blame for this rests squarely on the two racially divisive individuals who happen to be black, Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and President Obama. Despite their offensive behavior, both have deflected blame, refused to take any significant responsibility and neither has offered an apology. This further illustrates the type of individuals that they really are: racist, arrogant, egocentric, irresponsible, and deserving of contempt.
The woman who saw two men breaking into the building called 911 to report what appeared to be a burglary. Though she never made any racially charged statements, she is being attacked by many in the black community as being a racist. It has escalated to the point where her Good Samaritan action has now required her to retain a lawyer.
The white police officer who was dispatched to investigate a possible burglary, Sgt. James Crowley, has a long and distinguished record with the department, specializes in racially related issues and is well liked and respected by his fellow officers, black and white. Following protocol to the letter, he requested that Henry Louis Gates, Jr. show him identification at which point Gates erupted into a tirade and became disorderly. A fellow officer who was with him and who happens to be black supported Crowley’s actions one hundred percent and cited Gates to be the party at fault. Sgt. Crowley’s response has been supported by his police chief who is black, fellow policemen in the department and by police departments around the country. Though simply doing his job professionally and well, Sgt. Crowley has found himself in the national spotlight though has handled it well and has taken the high road. Unfortunately, he has been attacked by demagogues from the black community.
The “black” police officer at the scene, Sgt Leon Lashley, corroborated the events as outlined by Sgt. Crowley, indicating that Professor Gates was completely wrong and at fault. The result of this is that he has become the unfortunate and unwarranted target of a hate campaign from other blacks who are calling him an “Uncle Tom” or a traitor to his heritage for supporting a white person against a black. This is the high price many blacks have to pay for being honest and is a strong indictment against the demagogues, racists and race baiting opportunists in the black community and the existent double standard which needs to be obliterated. The likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright need to be trivialized – just like the David Dukes of the world.
In a letter sent with Sgt. Crowley to the Beer Summit at the White House, Sgt. Lashley wrote:
One of the major problems stemming from the events of July 16 is that I, now known as 'The Black Sergeant,' have had my image plastered all over the Internet, television, and news papers. Subsequently, I have also become known, at least to some, as an 'Uncle Tom.'"
"Please convey my concerns to the president that Mr. Gates' actions may have caused grave and potentially irreparable harm to the struggle for racial harmony in this country and perhaps throughout the world."
The epicenter of fault of this racial incident is Henry Louis Gates, Jr., a professor of Black Studies at Harvard. As pointed out in a previous post, you would expect that an individual in this position may not be exactly neutral when it comes to race relations and this is surely the case. This individual is a vitriolic racist of long standing who hides behind an academic position hoping to provide him with some protection and legitimacy.
The following video, which will substantiate this, was from a racially charged talk he gave in 1996. A few memorable comments from this included:
"Without affirmative action we would have never been able to integrate racist historically white institutions in American society"
"I taught at Duke for one long painful year, I don't even like the airplane to fly over North Carolina..
“Because of racism I never would have been allowed to compete with white boys and white girls"
After listening to him in this video, there is no doubt where he stands on race issues.
And then there is the Racist in Chief himself, Obama who in an unscripted moment revealed his true colors. Do you really think that he was sleeping and didn't hear anything during his twenty years of attending the sermons of his spiritual guide, the vile and hateful racist and anti-American, Reverend Jeremiah Wright? If Obama truly didn't believe the rhetoric, he would not have tolerated twenty years worth of this racist hate speech. Furthermore, Obama considers this same Rev. Wright, who married Obama and his wife Michelle, baptized their two daughters and is credited by Obama for the title of his book, "The Audacity of Hope.", to be like an uncle to him.
This church, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, is vehemently pro-black and supports the racist black value system. It also has revered and honored an individual even more despicable and hateful than Reverend Wright: Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam, who is rabidly anti-White, anti- Semitic and anti-American. What is Obama's assessment of the church? "I don't think my church is actually particularly controversial" Huh?!!!
The following is Reverend Jeremiah Wright in Action:
In his quintessential arrogance, Obama tried to downplay his and Gate’s blame in is this matter by saying that this should be used as a teaching lesson. Well, he may be right (or is it wright?).
First, for those who were not convinced previously that Obama is an unalloyed racist despite all his unsavory associations and actions, this should serve as a wake-up call.
Second, though Obama was elected as the first “post-racial” President, he is in fact, the most racist President. His actions also reveal a President who only supports certain constituents rather than all Americans.
Finally, although racism on all sides will probably never entirely disappear, a vast majority of the so-called incidents are part of the entitlement and victimization mentality which is counter-productive and akin to blackmail. This will continue until mainstream America finally comes to its collective senses, voices its disgust and resolutely denounces these demagogues and provides them no more publicity and coverage.
Thanks, Barack Obama…and Professor Gates…and Reverend Wright…and Jesse Jackson…and…
